We are seeking an experienced Helpdesk Support professional to work a night shift supporting software and systems within a Law Firm Environment. Applicants must have a minimum of two years recent support experience within a busy helpdesk providing in depth MS Word (extensive formatting and styles knowledge) and Document Management Software (Hummingbird, Interwoven etc) support. The successful candidate can expect to take 30-40 calls per shift, via an ACD system, that vary in nature but will include extensive support of MS Word, DMS and remote connectivity related issues.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide phone support to end-users for common office software applications.
• Software applications supported include: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Carpe Diem, Best Authority, Time Trax, LegalKEY, Windows OS, Interwoven, Desksite, Mailsite, Deltaview.
• Thoroughly research technical issues and document solutions for user problems in a timely manner.
• Recommend or perform actions to correct software or system problems.
• Maintain incident tracking system from the input of issues through the resolutions, including any necessary escalation.
• Maintain a highly competent knowledge of relevant products, current support policies, and methods of support delivery.
• Support remote access applications.
• Troubleshoot operating system and hardware issues.
• Communicate effectively with both unskilled and skilled PC users.
• Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
• Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum two years experience in a Legal IT support environment.
• Extensive Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Outlook 2003 (certifications desired).
• In depth knowledge of one or more DMS system commonly utilized within a Law Firm environment eg; Hummingbird, Interwoven
• Proven experience of handling 30+ calls per shift.
• Demonstrable experience with one or more ACD (Automated Call Distribution) systems.
• Previous experience working a night shift is preferrable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
